AH. It’s been a while since I posted on here!
This past semester was a whirlwind. It was full of tea drinking, paper writing, lots of dancing (teaching, competing, and performing), baby showers, final exams, and did I mention tea?
After 3.5 years, I finished college! It’s really funny to think that when I began college I was at St. Gregory’s University and was a Exercise Science major. I planned on staying at St. Greg’s for all four years and I wanted to be a physical therapist. Never would I have dreamed that I would graduate from a totally different school with a degree in Evangelization and Catechesis. I thought majoring in Theology was crazy and impractical. Jokes on me!
In a lot of ways, I’ve been ready to graduate for a while. Ever since St. Greg’s closed, I felt like a big part of my college experience was over. I was formed so much during my time at St. Gregory’s and the friends I made there are so close to my heart! The bonds I formed there can’t be broken.
Yet, I am truly thankful for all the lessons I have learned at Benedictine College. I have certainly grown as person during my time there and I am really grateful for that. My strength has been tested. I have been challenged. I have grown academically and spiritually through my classes at Benedictine.
What’s next? I’m moving to Ireland for a year! I am going to be an au pair for a family near Dublin.
I leave on January 9th and though I’m slightly terrified and nervous, I’m so excited to have the opportunity for this adventure! Stay tuned for more on my Irish adventures.
Wishing you blessings on this third day of Christmas!
